Joat was the yak-faced, hook-handed pirate who was the former owner of the Wraith, until it was stolen by Ioz. An extremely bitter sort, Joat was quite fond of his ship and thus has a single-minded obsession with hunting Ioz down and getting the Wraith back. So far, he has been unsuccessful.
