Biography
Kevin Wendell Crumb is a zookeeper who had twenty three alternate personalities as a result of his abuse from his mother. As a result, he shifts personalities. He even kidnapped young girls at Philadelphia.

Hedwig is shown to be innocent and ends sentences with "etcetera" frequently.
The Beast
The Beast is feral and growls at others.

Crumb uses his other personalities to his advantage, even when trying to talk to people.
