A Mobile Doll was a computer-controlled mobile suit constructed by the Romefeller Foundation, ostensibly intended to reduce OZ casualty rates. The mobile dolls were deadlier and more accurate than their human-piloted counterparts. However, they were opposed by some, such as Zechs Merquise, who felt they took away the nobility of combat by removing its human elements.
Many Taurus suits were refit as mobile dolls; the Virgo and Virgo II were mobile dolls from their conception.
