Chieftain (Pirates of Dark Water)

The Chieftain was the leader if the monkey bird rebels on Pandawa who opposed Jargis. He asked Ren and Niddler to assist him and his fellow freedom fighters in storming Jargis' house for the purposes of retaking Pandawa, but they were all captured by the Securitat. After Niddler helped stir all of the other monkey birds to rise up against Jargis and reclaim the island, Chieftain presented the Queen with her crown, which, incidentally, contained the Second Treasure of Rule as its jewel.

Comments

"Chieftain" is usually more of a title than a name, but the way in which he introduces himself to Ren - "I am Chieftain." - implies that it is, in fact, his name and not his title.
