Gigantic

Gigantic was a hulking gorilla who was the star attraction of a circus in Metropolis. Released from his cage by a mischievious monkey, Gigantic invaded the main tent and caused massive panic, resulting in the escape of nearly every animal at the circus, endangering even Lois Lane. Eventually, Gigantic was subdued by Superman, who also rounded up all the other animals and saved Lois.
