Jedite

Jedite is a fictional character from Sailor Moon. He has blonde hair and greenish eyes.

In the anime, he is the first of Queen Beryl's four generals of the Negaverse, and appears in the first 10 episodes. Many evil monsters of the Negaverse work for him. Jedite is the weakest of the four generals. In order to absorb energy from someone, Jedite must attach an object charged with dark energy to them. Such objects include jewelry, purple radio flowers, relaxation pods, computers, alarm clocks, charms, and sweets. He and Titus, a Negaverse monster, also drained energy from people in love at a cruiser.

Sailor Moon fought Jedite in Episode 2 and he stopped her Moon Tiara Magic attack. In Episode 10, Queen Beryl, having punished Jedite many times before, decided to give him one more chance, and if he couldn't defeat the Sailor Scouts this time, she would condemn him to Eternal Sleep. Through an illusion, Jedite told the three Sailor Scouts - Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Mars - to fight him at the airport or he'd burn the city to the ground. They got to the airport and Jedite controlled the jets to chase after them. Tuxedo Mask came and fought Jedite and was supposedly killed by him. Then the Sailor Scouts devised a plan: Sailor Moon distracted the jets, Sailor Mercury used Mercury Bubbles Blast to obscure Jedite's vision, and Sailor Mars put a Scroll Attack on Jedite's back to make the jet run him over instead, thus defeating him.

Jedite returned to the Negaverse, badly injured. He had learned the identities of the Sailor Scouts, but didn't have time to say who they were, as Queen Beryl condemned him to his Eternal Sleep by putting him into an eternal frozen state and vanishing him into the most profound darkness forever. His successor was Neflite.

Jedite made an appearance in Episode 39, The Past Returns. When it showed the Negaverse invading the Moon Kingdom, Jedite was seen standing next to Neflite, Zoycite, and Malachite. He was also seen being sucked inside the crystal by Queen Serenity along with everyone else.

In the manga and the Japanese version, his name is Jadeite.
