Bob Ross

General Bob Ross was an American army general who had served with Indiana Jones in World War II. When Jones was erroneously suspected of being a Communist by the FBI, it was General Ross who came to his old friend's assistance and personally vouched for his patriotism. He seemed to be on a first-name basis with at least one of the FBI agents, Smith, although the two clearly disliked one another.
