Akemi

Akemi was a student who worked for Doctors Paul Stewart and Yuzo Majida. Despite not being a scientist herself, she was extraordinarily bright in the field and had a way with animals. During Sanda's time at Stewart's laboratory, Akemi was the human with whom the brown-furred gargantua identified the most prior to his escape. When he grew to adulthood, Sanda would meet Akemi again when he saved her from falling off a cliff during her and Stewart's search for Gaira. Akemi felt a motherly affection towards the gentle beast thereafter, and was saddened when he died in battle with Gaira.
