Events

• Planet of the Apes (2001): February 14. The space station Oberon hovers near planet Saturn when it encounters an electromagnetic storm. They send out the chimpanzee Pericles to test the range of the storm's power and his pod disappears. Captain Leo Davidson hops into another pod to find him. After Leo's ship disappears into the void, the Oberon picks up a mysterious message and fly towards the electromagnetic storm. The Oberon loses gravitational control and flung to an uncharted planet while Leo and Pericles are flung to the year 5021. (Planet of the Apes (2001))

• Terminator, Terminator (Expanded Universe): Skynet's defense grid is smashed. It sends a T-800 back to 1984 to prevent John Connor's birth. Connor sends Kyle Reese to protect his mother Sarah. (The Terminator)
