Justin Moritz was the Frankenstein family's maid. After he murdered William Frankenstein, the Monster planted the boy's locket on Justine while she slept, framing her for the boy's murder. She was found guilty of the murder and hanged because Victor refused to come forward and reveal the existence of the Monster for fear of being held culpable.
