Scarpi
Scarpi was the leader of the Italian partisans in and around the village of Reanoto. A tough and ruthless fighter, he often found himself at odds with Aldo. He and his men were supposed to meet the incoming American demolitions team led by Captain Turner, but they were sold out by a captured partisan and ambushed by German forces led by Captain von Hecht. All of Scarpi's men were killed. He shot the captured partisan who'd betrayed them in revenge, then set about looking for the missing Turner so they could continue with Operation Dam. However, Aldo had the wounded American and refused to tell Scarpi where he was. Before Scarpi could force him to talk, von Hecht and several soldiers burst in and opened fire. Aldo escaped, but Scarpi and a partisan doctor were killed.
