Warhammer 40'000: The C'tan trick the Necrontyr race into becoming the Necrons and they go to War with the Old ones. The Old ones respond by influencing the Eldar into developing the Warp which turns the tide in the Old One's favor. Although the C'tan are driven into hiding new entities from the Warp called Enslavers emerge from the Warp and kill all of the Old Ones
