Arctic Giant

The Arctic Giant was an enormous dinosaur discovered frozen within an enormous chunk of ice by paleontologists in Siberia. It was transported back to Metropolis in a special refrigeration unit. it was put on display at the museum, but was set free when a malfunction occured as a result of a careless worker, allowing the refrigeration unit to shut off, thawing the ice. The giant dinosaur broke out of the museum and rampaged through the streets of Metropolis, but was finally subdued by Superman. The beast was then chained and put on display at the zoo.

Comments

Although the paleontologists referred to the dinosaur as a tyrannosaurus rex, the hulking, vaguely pear-shaped reptile was anything but. It had plates on its back like a stegosaurus, and four large, saber-toothed fangs on its upper and lower jaws.
