Alena Stasny was the president-elect of the Czech Republic. She was an old friend of Dr. Benton Quest's. Her presidency came under attack from the forces of the pro-Soviet military officer General Vostok, who attempted to kill President Stasny using a living Golem. She was saved by the Quests.
