Helstrom, Lars

Lars Helstrom was the Norwegian captain and all-around scumbag who sold Carl Denham a map of Skull Island he made from the description of a dying native. When Denham returned to the island in search of a fabled lost treasure, Helstrom went with him after killing Hilda Peterson's circus owner father and concealing his guilt. Upon arriving at the island Helstrom told the Venture's crew about the grisly fate of the previous crew, starting a mutiny. He was thrown off of the ship along with Denham, Hilda, Captain Englehorn and Charlie. During the adventure on the island, Helstrom was eaten by a plesiosaurus during an earthquake while running away from Kiko.
