Biography
Asmoday
According to the demon, he was once a former resident of the Pale City where he was among those that stood with his creator the Maker of All Things. However, his creator created humans to surpass his other creations in their capacity to create peace and know joy. This led to Asmoday and some of his compatriots rebelling where they vowed to hinder the good of humanity until the end of the universe. (Captain America v11 #4)
In 1939, Asmoday and his followers were aiding a Nazi scheme to bomb Madison Square Garden and pin the blame on Jews and communists, starting a cycle of violence that would have psychologically crippled humanity. (Captain America v11 #4)
The next moment that Asmoday would become active would be decades later by the modern age. Around 2 years ago, there was a billionaire named Travis Lane who had made his fortune selling weapons to wicked people and blackmailed authorities that tried to stop him. By this point, the man looked to become young and live forever leading to him seeking out the occult. Unknown to him, this was done so at the direction of Asmoday who made the man seek the demon out to bargain his soul so that he could be young again. Travelling to South America, Lane met with a guide who took him to the temple of Asmoday where he became possessed by the demon and became his newest host. (Captain America v11 #1)
By the current day, Asmoday decided to enact his schemes and in the body of his host Lane he went about to meet former Advanced Idea Mechanics project manager Arianna Walters in order to enlist her aid. (Captain America v11 #1)

Personality and attributes
Ancient people came to refer to him as the Undying One and as the Great Adversary. (Captain America v11 #1)
It was said that the demon was referred to as 'undying' because he was always active at important times. Furthermore, Asmoday was known to take the bodies and lives of others in order to conduct his 'business' on Earth. (Captain America v11 #1)
The demon was known to orchestrate events to his advantage. This included getting mortals to seek him out in order to trade for something. Among these included the demon imparting youth and the ability to live longer. (Captain America v11 #1)
Powers and abilities
It was shown that the demon had the ability to take human bodies as hosts so that he could operate in the world. (Captain America v11 #1)
A temple dedicated to Asmoday was located in the jungles of South America. (Captain America v11 #1)
