Biography
Charlotte Katakuri (Japanese: シャーロット・カタクリ, Hepburn: Shārotto Katakuri) was a male human born somewhere on the Grand Line on a boat as the second son of Charlotte Linlin and the third child of the Charlotte Family. Along with Charlotte Daifuku and Charlotte Oven, they made up a set of triplets with Katakuri being the oldest of the three. At 2 years old, Katakuri tasted doughnuts for the first time and it became his favorite food. When he was 3 years ago, Katakuri's fast eating habits caused the size of his mouth to expand greatly and tore his cheeks apart, leaving deep scars on the sides of his mouth. As a result, he was shunned and ostracized by others due to his appearance, but he was strong enough to fend off his bullies, making them run away in fear. Some of his siblings such as Charlotte Perospero, Oven, Daifuku and Charlotte Brûlée do not scorn him, although Perospero once told Katakuri that he would be able to make friends if he hid his eel-like mouth. When Katakuri was 5, years old he obtained and ate the Mochi Mochi no Mi Devil Fruit. When he was 10 years old, some bullies that Katakuri beat up took revenge by cutting Brûlée's face. Angered, Katakuri retaliated and attacked the bullies. Having blamed his naivete for the attack on Brûlée, Katakuri decided to become a ruthless and cold man to make everyone fear him so he could protect his siblings and family, which included hiding his mouth with a scarf since then.

Personality and attributes
In appearance, Charlotte Katakuri was an extremely tall, large and muscular man standing in at 509 cm where he was nearly three times Monkey D. Luffy's height whilst only slightly taller than his younger triplet brother. He has short spiky crimson hair and two symmetric scars on both sides of his face. He had long legs with his thighs being equally as long as his lower limbs. His mouth, which was usually covered up, contained sharp Pelican eel-like teeth and was capable of expanding to an enormous size.
Powers and abilities
Katakuri was one of the very few people in the world who can use all three types of Haki. Katakuri possessed the ability to use Supreme King Haki, a rare form of Haki that only one in several million people in the world can use. Katakuri had extraordinary mastery of Observation Haki, specifically its advanced form of Future Vision (未来予見, Mirai Yoken?) that allowed him to see as well as listen a few seconds ahead into the future.
Katakuri was an extremely skilled user of Armament Haki (武装色の覇気, Busōshoku no Haki).
When he was 5 years old, Katakuri came to consume the Mochi Mochi no Mi which was a Special Paramecia (特殊な超人系パラミシア, Tokushuna Paramishia?) Devil Fruit (悪魔の実, Akuma no Mi). This allowed him to create, control and transform his body into mochi at will. His mochi was extremely thick and adhesive, allowing him to trap even extremely strong enemies with it, although it lost its effectiveness when exposed to liquids.
He came to master his Devil Fruit to the point of Awakening (覚醒, kakusei?) its full potential. This enabled him to transform nearby inorganic material into mochi, greatly enhancing the range of his attacks and allowing him to manipulate the environment to his advantage.
