Cryotube
From Multiversal Omnipedia
A cryotube, also known as a hypersleep chamber, is a device that essentially resembles a large pod big enough to hold a full-grown human being. Once inside it, a person is then cryogenically frozen for long trips through space, and the freezing process helps combat negative effects of faster-than-light space travel, such as premature aging. Cryotubes are standard on most spacefaring vessels.
