History
Cyberdata Technologies was a multi-national corporation that operated in the modern age on Earth. (Cyberforce v1 #2)
Seven years ago, a big uptown drug lord named Black Fist was looking to establish himself in the criminal underworld by cutting a major deal with a European buyer. In response, his competitor came to hire the services of Cyberdata help stop this exchange. In response, the company decided to dispatch a S.H.O.C. team for this mission where they were sent to hit the site of abandoned warehouses near the old railroad yards. (Cyberforce v1 #0)
Overview
It operated an Advanced Robotics Division which had a Department of Machine Intelligence. (Cyberforce v1 #2) Another branch within the corporation was the Department of Artificial Intelligence. (Cyberforce v1 #3)
Cyberdata was known to force people under duress to sign contracts that made them employees of the company. Such people had no rights except those that the corporation gave them. (Cyberforce v1 #2)
Elite members of the company came to be part of the Special Hazardous Operation Cyborgs (S.H.O.C.) forces. They were responsible in illegal activities on behalf of the company. (Cyberforce v1 #0)
They maintained CDCops that were armed operatives who served as part of their security forces. (Cyberforce v1 #0)
It was said that Cyberdata could find anyone with this especially the case for their own employees. (Cyberforce v1 #2)
Unknown to people, the William Casey Memorial Hospital which was one of America's most modern and prestigious hospitals was secretly supported by laundered money from Cyberdata. (Cyberforce v1 #0)
A notable creation of Cyberdata was the brain box that were microcircuits implanted in their cyborgs during augmentation. This had the effect of not only brainwashing them but also increasing their aggression in the field. It also allowed the company to remotely fry the brain of their cyborgs. (Cyberforce v1 #0)
Their headquarters was the Cyberdata Technologies Building that was located in Lower Manhattan. (Cyberforce v1 #3)
