History

After the death of Aunt May, a distraught Peter Parker asked Debra Whitman to inform Dr. Sloan that he could not teach any classes on the day. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #196)

Her uncle began to experience problems due to thugs threatening his small shipping line. She later asked Peter if he could help her but he refused. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #209)

  • Debra Whitman was created by Marv Wolfman and Al Milgrom where she made her first appearance in Amazing Spider-Man v1 #196 (September, 1979).

  • In Spider-Man, Debra Whitman appeared in the 1990s animated television series where he was voiced by actor Liz Georges. She was shown as being a student of Empire State University who was a fellow student of Peter Parker and a rival to him with the pair working with Dr. Curt Connors.
