The Sindria Kingdom is an empire that features in Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic.

History

The Sindria Kingdom (Japanese: シンドリア王国, Hepburn: Shindoria Ōkoku) was \n island nation that was founded by Sinbad. It was first founded when Sinbad was 18 years old, after he obtained Valefor and Baal. The island was a few hours north of the Parthevian capital of Csitephon by carriage and is connected to the mainland by two bridges. The island had previously been a thriving port that served ships traveling between Reim and Balbadd. However, the war between Parthevia and Reim decimated business, and it was quickly abandoned. It briefly housed a facility in which the Parthevians conducted horrific experiments on 'inferiors'. President Barbarossa of Parthevia sells the island to Sinbad for 10,000,000 dinar, allowing him to set up his kingdom in the form of a special administrative district. Within a year, the country is renovated and the founding ceremony is set to take place. However, as Sinbad gives his first speech to the crowd, he is overtaken by Zepar's power and delivers former Parthevian Princess Serendine's declaration of war. Barbarossa uses this as an excuse to speed up the enactment of his ultimate intent, to use the island to gather people of different races in one spot and commit genocide. Shortly after its establishment, the first Sindria was caught in the middle of a Parthevian power struggle greatly influenced by Al-Thamen. The fall of the first Sindria left a deep scar in Sinbad and is the reason why he is half-fallen into depravity.

Six months after the events of Balbadd, Aladdin, Alibaba, and Morgiana came there to calm down and train. During their stay, they get to know Sindria's Eight Generals and participate in the Mahrajan Festival.

Locations within the kingdom included:

• White Capricorn Tower : the national administration center, where the civil officials attend to their duties. The great hall at its ground floor is where his Majesty and his officials hold a mass meeting every morning and where Sinbad grants an audience.

One notable event held by the kingdom was the Mahrajan Festival. A few times a year the Southern Creatures that inhabits the waters around Sindria will get past the lookout and come attack the island. It is the duty of the King and the Eight Generals to fight them off whenever they attack. Sinbad turned this attacking of the southern Creatures into a performance. It calms the people's fears and earned them tourist. The southern creature that was killed is an abundant source of protein and it is distributed throughout the country to be feasted on.

Its greatest warriors made up the ranks of the elite Eight Generals (八人将, Hachinin Shō). Under the eight generals is a group of fighters with special abilities called the eight generals' fighters. They are second only to the eight generals in skill and serve with hopes to succeed them one day. Guests of the palace are people with special skills who earn their keep by serving Sindria
