Billy's mother was the mother of young Billy and the wife of Stan. She disliked her husband's short temper and abusive tendencies towards their son, but seemed too afraid to stand up and do anything. When Stan threw away their son's copy of Creepshow, his wife meekly conceded she didn't want their son reading "all that horror crap."
