Biography

Andrew Wiggin was a male human born in 11 BX to John Paul Wiggin and Theresa Wiggin where he was he third child as well as youngest of the religious family with him having two older siblings named Peter Wiggin and Valentine Wiggin. His birth was unusual in that the state had a strict policy on the number of offspring a family could have with this being two only two children. However, a special exception was made in his case as part of a program to produce commanders for use in humanity's battle against the Formics. Thus, the Wiggin's family were instructed by the government to conceive a child to be half as ruthless as Peter Wiggins and half as empathetic as Valentine Wiggins with both of his siblings having been past Battle School candidates.

As a result, Wiggin attended the Earth-orbiting space station known as Battle School that was tasked with training other similar prodigies. At the academy, Ender received the same level of education as the other children but the military recognized his skill and deemed him the best chance in becoming the supreme commander in humanity's war against the 'Buggers'. As a result, they manipulated their own rules in order to ensure that Ender gained the much needed technical skills but also arranged that he met the right individuals to achieve their goals. As a result, Ender Wiggin was conditioned to be entirely self-sufficient from a very young age.

He came to graduate several years ahead of schedule leading to Ender being transferred to the Command School on Eros.

Overview

Personality and attributes

He later gained the position of Speakers for the Dead after joining the humanist movement.

Typically, he was shown as being a calm person but when pushed or forced to defend himself he had no qualms about injuring his enemy and hurting them enough so that he would prevent future attacks.

It was said that in that moment when he truly understood his enemy to the point that he could defeat them that it was also the moment that he came to love them. Thus, in the moment of loving his enemy he was forced to destroy them in the process.
