- Dungeons and Dragons (Forgotten Realms): c. 4750 BC (-5007 DR). Coramshan and Jhaamdath forge a truce, ending the war between them and limiting their expansion over the Lake of Steam. Coramshan soon renames itself Calimshan. (Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting (3rd Edition))
- Lord of the Rings: c. 4722 BC (III 2340). Isumbras I, a member of the Took family, becomes Thain of the Shire. Buckland is founded by the Oldbucks. (The Return of the King)
