- Andromeda: (4279 CY) The Conclave, led by Sucharitkul, votes to replace the Vedran Empire with a democracy, the Systems Republic. Resistance from the imperial government threatens to erupt into a civil war, until High Guard Supreme Commander Sani nax Rifati helps the two sides reach a compromise- the Empress would retain the titular leader, but political power would rest in the hands of an elected government.
