Biography
A.K.I. (アキ Aki?, Simplified Chinese: 阿鬼) was a female human who was born and raised in China where she existed as a nameless, soul-crushed captive trapped within the squalid depths of a Chinese human trafficking ring. Her life was defined by the misery of the slums until she witnessed the assassin F.A.N.G execute her captors with a terrifyingly beautiful display of toxic martial arts. Rather than fleeing in terror, she was instantly enthralled by the lethal elegance of his poison and begged him to take her as his apprentice, even as she lay dying from an accidental exposure to his toxins. Impressed by her resilience and her immediate, fanatical devotion to the concept of poison, F.A.N.G administered an antidote and took her under his wing, stripping away her past and renaming her A.K.I. (meaning "autumn"). Under his brutal tutelage, she underwent grueling training to master the Shatkyaku-ken style, eventually learning to use her fingers as needle-like conduits for lethal chemicals. Her successful recruitment into the remnants of Shadaloo followed shortly after, as she proved her worth by acting as F.A.N.G’s most loyal and sadistic agent, helping him attempt to rebuild the organization’s power base while hunting down anyone who dared to threaten her master’s vision.
After the fall of M. Bison and Shadaloo, F.A.N.G. retreated back to the city of Shanghai and regroups his efforts into reviving Shadaloo once more. After a night of carousing with old associates and re-establishing ties to help fund his efforts during the Chinese New Year, he took notice of a teenage girl attempting to make ends meet through soliciting herself through prostitution.

Personality and attributes
In appearance, A.K.I. was a female human with pale white skin and wore a stylized, open-backed cheongsam in black and skintight black pants. Both feature red trim and appear to be made of snakeskin. She has uniquely-shaped white hair based on a traditional Japanese straw hat called a "kasa" (related to the word "umbrella" in Japanese), which was seen as an assassin's symbol. She has a beauty mark under her lips. Her eyes are cardinal red, as seen in her teaser trailer. She wears lipstick of the same shade. She sports a pair of slim metal gauntlets with a claw on each finger, which are worn over her long, sharp nails that are coated with poison. It's possible these gauntlets are based off of Chinese nail guards (also known as "zhijiatao/huzhi"). Each finger of the gauntlet is made up of multiple sections that can extend outwards, giving her additional reach through the use of poisoned chains. These chains are wrapped around her forearm when not in use. She came to be known as the Phantom (鬼 Ki?) and her specialty led to her being given the title of Mistress of Poison (毒の女王 Doku no joō?, Simplified Chinese: 毒女主).
Although professional during her duties, A.K.I.'s deep adoration for her master often overcomes her composed demeanor. She openly expresses her love and unwavering devotion to F.A.N.G. in a flamboyantly dramatic manner.
Powers and abilities
Through contortionism, she was able to manipulate her skeletal structure and muscles with fluid, serpentine ease. She utilised this ability to move across the ground in a low, slithering manner, effectively shrinking her silhouette to bypass traditional defences and strike from unpredictable angles. This physical flexibility was not merely for mobility; she frequently used it to absorb the impact of incoming strikes by yielding her body like a liquid, or to entwine herself around an opponent in a suffocating, coil-like fashion. By dislocating her joints and twisting her limbs into unnatural positions, she successfully emulated the movements of a venomous snake, ensuring that she remained a difficult target to pin down while she systematically searched for an opening to deploy her toxins.
A.K.I's fighting style consists of a mix of Chinese Kenpo & Shequan (Snake Kung Fu), along with her mentor F.A.N.G's poison-focused mechanics.
