History
The ARM rebellion was formed in the distant future where much of the galaxy was controlled by a humanity and artificial intelligences that became known as the Core. This empires economic and technological accomplishments allowed much of the galaxy to be colonized thus ushering an age of peace as well as prosperity. At this point, a critical new development was formed namely the ability to pattern the consciousness of a human being and transferring it into a machine body. The process of patterning allowed for effective immortality and led to the CORE forcing mankind to undergo the process in what they claimed to be a public health measure. This act resulted in a resistance movement formed in the fringes of the galaxy that took the name ARM who refused to abandon their organic bodies for the CORE's mechanical ones. Thus, a war began between the ARM and the CORE which spanned four thousand years with both sides attempting to gain ultimate victory.
Overview
In order to battle against the CORE's machines, the ARM employed the use of cloning en masse in order to gather enough pilots to operate their war machines.
