History
The Acolytes were a cult that existed in the modern age that consisted of the half-human offspring of Satan. Its members masked themselves in human society where the secretly orchestrated their master's return. Among their number included Raisa Volkova who served as the head of the Bioquimek Corporation and was working on a demonic plague to spread to humanity,
Zobek would learn of the Acolytes and dispatch Gabriel Belmont to track them down and destroy them before they could bring Satan to the mortal world.

- Satan's acolytes were mentioned in the epilogue cutscene sequence in the first game and became full fledged villains in the second game.
