Biography
Alibaba Saluja (Japanese: アリババ・サルージャ, Hepburn: Aribaba Sarūja) was a male human born as the son of Rashid Saluja (ラシッド・サルージャ, Rashiddo.Sarūja) and Anise (アニス, Anisu). His mother was a maid in the Royal Palace of Balbadd which was when she met the ruling king. The two embarked on an affair which led to Anise becoming pregnant with the king's illegitimate child. As a result, she left the palace and lived in the slums where she was forced to live as a harlot after she gave birth to her son Alibaba. When Alibaba was younger, he lived in the slums of Balbadd with his mother, Anise. He led a happy life, unlike his friends, Cassim and Mariam, who were raised by a terrible father who often beat them. After his mysterious disappearance, Anise welcomed them as members of her family and thus, they became the family of four. One day, she succumbed to an illness and died. Cassim, being the oldest of them, took on the role of taking care of them. Even though it was hard for them, they combined their strength to help each other, and were helped by Anise's customers and neighbors as well. In contrary to Cassim, Alibaba tried to live his life as honestly as possible. Not too long after, the King of Balbadd visited the slums. He revealed that Alibaba was actually his son and told him to live in the palace. Alibaba decided to discuss it with Cassim but was quickly shot down since Cassim thought of them as different human beings. After the last fight, Alibaba accepted the King's offer. However, the Princes saw him as trash due to his upbringing, and even the King, the person who brought him in, ignored him when in the palace. He was lonely and had to go through intense daily training. He was taught everything from how he walks, speaks and eats, to sword fighting, economics, math, and philosophy. Eventually, thanks to his hard work, some of people started speaking to him properly and he even became close with one of his half-brothers, Sahbmad.
One night, years later, Alibaba snuck out of the palace to have a look at the slums. What he found there was nothing, no trace of junkyard street or people. As he was about to go back to the palace, he ran into Cassim. Alibaba was happy and felt nostalgic talking to Cassim after all those years. Cassim invited him on a drink and he accepted. While drinking, he noticed the level of respect Cassim had with all the adults, and how each were bowing to him. During the talk, Alibaba got drunk and told Cassim how he was able to escape from the castle. He ended up giving away a very important weakness of the palace, even though he hasn't told him the most crucial part, namely the location. On the way back to the palace however, Alibaba was trailed by someone Cassim had paid. After that, Alibaba went back to living in the palace. After sometime had passed, the King came down with a deadly chronic disease. Before the king died, he told Alibaba that he would like to leave the kingdom to him. Alibaba asked about his mother and was reassured that the King loved her. This put Alibaba at ease. He refused the King's request for him to be king, explaining that it was not his place and that the two Princes should be the one to handle their country. However, he decided to devote himself to Balbadd. That night, he saw Cassim again, inside the walls of the palace. Before Alibaba realized it, he was surrounded by members of Cassim's group from the slums. They started attacking and stealing from the palace. While Alibaba was frozen, one of Cassim's subordinates noticed him. Upon learning about Alibaba's presence, Cassim ordered to just knock him out. Alibaba could only feel the heat of the flame that engulfed the palace. The next morning, Rashid had passed away. Because of his feelings of guilt and fear, Alibaba escaped Balbadd that same day. From that point, he traveled until he ran into Aladdin.
After saying his farewell, he departed and continued his journey towards the Reim Empire where his ship was seemingly beset upon by pirates. Repelling the fighters, he was applauded by the crew and went to sleep only to have all his items stolen. He came to learn that the crew were working alongside the pirates to rob him. Upon arriving at the Reim Empire, he was hungry and had almost no clothes on him where people mistook him for a beggar with him getting fed as a result. He then made his way to the coliseum in order to find the Yambala Gladiators only to be denied entry by one of their warriors named Toto as they only allowed those with a signed recommendation to join their ranks. Toto offered Alibaba a chance to prove his worth and if he could defeat her then he would be allowed to enter the coliseum. Alibaba came to lose the fight as he was weak from starvation and was forced out the area by Toto. Alibaba afterwards later ended up in the middle of town with no food or money where he was found by the Nando Brothers who had set up a base of operations in the Reim Empire with them establishing a casino and raising a fortune. Now wealthy, they pair treated him to food at the casino whilst hearing about the plight of slaves in the Reim Empire. During this time, he saw an old man gambling everything he had including his clothes as part of a gamble with him being stopped by a girl that Alibaba recognised as being Toto.

She became pregnant with his child but being an illegitimate heir meant that she had to leave her old life and instead relocated to the slums of the kingdom. Alibaba never knew of his father or his parentage where instead he lived as a commoner. Through his father, Alibaba was actually a prince of the kingdom of Balbadd though an illegitimate heir as a result of his parentage.
Upon sharing his own past with Kougyoku Ren, the Kou princess came to find a sense of kinship over their shared backstories and she declared that the two were now close friends.
Powers and abilities
Alibaba was given a high level of education possible in the Royal Palace of Balbadd after the king adopted him. He knows difficult languages like Torran Language and possesses high knowledge. After his time in the Dark Continent, he has gained a plethora of knowledge from the Alma Torran magicians of that age. At that time he also gained the ability to increase his concentration in order to think faster and get more information far faster than a regular human, this allowed him to go through all documents related with the Kou Empire, a normal human would need several years for this feat while Alibaba managed it in less than two weeks.
Upon learning of Magoi, he came to struggle to master this talent. Following the death of Cassim, he came to possess two different types of Magoi within his body. This led to Cassim's larger supply of Magoi merging with his own but it was the reason he struggled in manipulating his power. A danger posed by this was the risk of both Magoi rejecting each other which would kill Alibaba. He came to fuse the two competing Magoi thus allowing him to fully manipulate his power and channel it into his weapons.
In time, he came to possess seven different Djinn each of which had their own Metal Vessel. These Djinn included:
- Amon (Kanji: アモン, Rōmaji: Amon) : a male Djinn of Politeness and Austerity who controlled fire. His Djinn equip saw Alibaba burn his arms with Amon's flames that engulfed his entire body with this lading to him becoming one with them where eventually his arms changed into a black metallic substance. This also saw his knife transform into a large black sword called Amol Saiqa (Amon's Sword) and was known as the Sword of Melting. With it, Alibaba had the power of both producing and manipulating firm along with being immune to heat or flames. Any fire-based attacks sent at him in this state was simply absorbed and used to enhance him. Amon allowed him to conduct the following techniques:
- Amol Dherrsaiqa (アモンの轟炎剣 (アモール・ゼルサイカ), Amōru.Zerusaika, Amon's Roaring Flame Sword) : upon using the second method of Djinn Equip, Alibaba was able to summon and concentrate his flames around the sword. He the turned it into a vortex of fire able to instantly incinerate anything that touched it where he could also combine it with his royal swordplay techniques.
- Amol Berka ( 炎の壁アモール・ベルカ Amōru Beruka, Amol's Wall) : both forms allowed Alibaba to call forth a wall of flames that could stop his enemies from approaching him.
