Alicorn

An alicorn was the horn of a unicorn, described by the Lord of Darkness as "a single spiral reaching like an antennae straight to heaven." Once severed from a unicorn's body it caused the animal to fall into a deathlike state and, separate from the unicorn, the horn possessed limited magical powers, including pyrokinesis.
