Biography

Alma Wade was a female human born to Harlan Wade and his wife Elizabeth Wade on August 26, 1979. Her mother was noted to had died during labor leaving Alma in the sole care and custody of her father. She came to possess incredible psychic powers that caused her to suffer from terrible nightmares as she became attuned to the negative thoughts of the people around her. Harlan Wade came to notice these abilities sometime afterwards and took her to the Amarchan Technology Corporation when she was 3 years old. This saw her being inducted into Project Paragon where she was test for every known psychic ability. Alma came to pass all these tests at the facility and was then experimented on relentlessly in order to discover the source of her powers along with her responses to external stimuli. When she was 5 years old, she began to deliberately fail the Amarchan tests in the hope that this would lead to the corporation to stop experimenting on her. Afterwards, she came to set fire to a laboratory and started to psychically attack the Amarchan scientists that were studying her. This saw her victims experience vivid nightmares, sudden mood changes and suffer from delusions. Amarchan came to discover this and determined that the reason she was unable to conduct even more dangerous attacks was on account of her young age leading to them keeping her sedated in order to prevent further psychic attacks on their employees. Thus, when she was 7 years old, she was recruited into Project Origin who sought to create psychic individuals through her. In 1987, two days before her 8th birthday she was inducted into a coma and locked into the Vault that was a spherical structure deep inside the Project Origin facility that was capable of neutralising her psychic powers.
