For a while, he proposed that a new leader was needed to take A.I.M. to a greater future with his words being brought before the ruling council at the Scientorium. Ultimately, his research grant was approved and he was chosen as the new leader of A.I.M. where he looked to take it towards sovereignty. (Fantastic Four v1 #610) Afterwards, he travelled to the remote research facility known as the Gate situated in the Arctic Circle that was sought to commune with the future to determine the end result of A.I.M.'s great celestial experiment. Forson went through to see for himself and came back with an epiphany upon seeing the fruits of their future work. He then departed to complete the next stage of the experiment as the sovereign designate Scientist Supreme with the A.I.M. operatives at the facility committing suicide as the site self-destructed.
