Brother Angel-Joseph was a new member of the Cyclopes at the time of Denree's kidnapping. He was presented with an Optacon and saw for the first time, and had never seen a woman before, and constantly asked what everything was. When One and Miette were capture, Angel-Joseph went up to Miette and asked her what she was. In response she screamed into his hearing aid, deafening him and causing him to collapse to the floor.
