Biography
Anna Maria Marconi
She came to be a student at Empire State University where she came to be in Donald Lamaze class. (Superior Spider-Man v1 #5)
She watched helplessly as Spider-Man was unmasked though Parker was saved by the intervention of Silk who used webbing to cover his face before the cameras could expose his secret identity. Silk then took the wounded Spider-Man away thus thwarting Black Cat with Anna Maria rendezvousing at their apartment. Anna Maria then told Parker that they had to attend the demonstration of the electro-trap that he was supposed to showcase to the chief of police. Peter Parker reluctantly agreed with Silk joining them on the drive but the two heroes spider-sense warned them of danger. This led to Parker having to abandon the meeting but he decided that Anna Maria would be there in his stead and he gave her a promotion in Parker Industries to match these new responsibilities. She then warned the attendees that they needed to leave just as Black Cat and Electro sprang their trap though they were ultimately thwarted once again by Spider-Man and Silk. (Amazing Spider-Man v3 #6)
Afterwards, she began to operate at the London Branch of Parker Industries as it expanded to the global markets where she worked under Sajani Jaffrey. After returning from the States, Jaffrey called an emergency meeting of the staff in order to accelerate development of the nanotech program. Marconi warned that they were nowhere near ready for the project but Sajani insisted on rushing it to completion. (Amazing Spider-Man v4 #1)
