Arachnoid

Arachnoid was originally a scientist named Dr. Kirby, who wanted to prove the medicinal value of spider venom. However his benefactor Otis Face stole his work and used it for weapons development purposes, angering Kirby whose further experiments accidentally resulted in him becoming genetically bonded with the DNA of a spider. He developed extra eyes and extra arms, and went insane, breeding several giant mutant spiders, including his favorite, named Creeps. Arachnoid wanted to reverse his mutation and prove the results of his work with spider venom to the world, but first he tried to get revenge against Otis Face, and this brought him into conflict with Max, the Mighty One.
