The Arcanum is a book that features in the movie Thir13en Ghosts.
Background
The Arcanum was written by the astrologer Visillius in the 15th century and was believed to have been possessed by the Devil at the time. In his madness, he crafted a device known as the Ocularis Infernum which would allow a man to rule the world by seeng things past and present. The designs of the machine as well as the relevant parts were present within the Arcanum.
The book was eventually discovered by Cyrus Kriticos who used his vast wealth to make the machine.
