Argonium 44 is a substance that features in the Superman universe.

History
Argonium 44 was one of the rarest elements in the known universe and resided only in pools within the Phantom Zone.
During a confrontation with Brainiac, Lois Lane was badly wounded and infected with a deadly blood alloy fusion during the attack. She would slowly die from this condition and no human science was able to heal her. Superman within his Fortress of Solitude managed to find a cure for Lois but this meant that he would need to journey into the Phantom Zone to acquire the Argonium 44. Upon entering, he had to travel great distances and fight numerous native predators until he reached a pool that contained the element. Superman would collect some of it within a vial and depart the Phantom Zone where he travelled to the hospital to have Lois treated thus restoring her back to full health.
Overview
The unique make-up of this element made it he only cure for deadly blood alloy fusion.
