Biography
Aryabhata (Japanese: ア リ ヤ バ ー タ, Hepburn: Ariyabāta?) was born a princess of the royal family of the Kingdom of Selinistan. Around 35 years ago, the Kingdom had discovered ruins in their nation that belonged to an older ancient civilisation who had left behind an advanced piece of technology known as Crests. At the sites also included machines that had the power to change the world. The King of Selinistan sought to harness the power in the ruins in order to remake the world in his image. However, he found that he was unable to control the technology in those sites and thus had research made to create a means to influence the sites. Afterwards, it was discovered that a tribe within Selinistan were the descendants of the creators of the ruins and the King authorised ruthless experiments to be conducted on them. Thousands were taken where they were studied and killed in an effort to create a means of interacting with the technology. It was eventually decided to create a living interface for the ruins causing the tribes men to have their sperm collected whilst the women were artificially impregnated to create this interface. This saw the entire tribe being killed as a result but a series of near identical clone sisters were created with the perfect specimen being Aryabhata. However, the King came to care for the girl as if she was his own daughter and came to regret his actions thus leading to him abandoning the experiments. Arya was adopted by the King as his child where she lived as a princess of Selinistan. In time, she came to learn of her origins and the death of the entire tribe to create her leading to her resenting the king as well as mankind. She eventually decided to kill him and take over the kingdom whereupon she intended to reshape the world according to her desire.
She came to head an elite force of Power Crest users for the Kingdom with these being known as the Brahmin.
Using her power, she managed to sway the Kingdom's Parliament into supporting her thus weakening her 'fathers' powerbase.
Overview
Personality and attributes
She struck a beautiful figure who comported herself with dignity.
It was noted that she had an absolute hatred of humanity which stemmed from the actions of her 'father' the King in his experiments that killed an entire tribe in Selinistan. She noted that mankind achieved nothing except war and death which was why there was no redemption for them. However, she believed that she could change the world and shape it according to her desire thus bringing about peace to the Earth.
Thus, she came to be a nationalist with desires for global domination. She admitted to Seigi that she wished to change the world to suit her own ends regardless of what others may think or feel.
Powers and abilities
Her Crest did not require a trigger and was actually linked to the source of all Power Crests. Thus, she was able to use any powers of the Crests at will.
Through a coup, she came to be the monarch of the Kingdom of Selinistan and commanded its forces completely. Among the forces at her disposal were an elite unit of soldiers wielding Power Crests with these being the Brahmin.
