Biography
Automan was an electronic being generated by the work of police officer Walter Nebicher who was confined to the police station in order to conduct work rather than be out on the streets. His advanced knowledge in electronics led to experimentation in the use of holograms. Through programming on the computer, he was able to create a program called Automan that was produced into the material world by way of a hologram. His creation meant he knew instantly who his creator was due to being programmed by Nebicher. The reasoning for his name was because Walter believed him to be the world's first truly automatic man.
Overview
Personality and attributes
In terms of appearance, Automan had largely a Human form though much of his body tended to glow in a luminous form with seemingly circuit style format. His head resembled more of a normal Human and Automan largely took pride on his form as he claimed that he looked wonderful.
He claimed that Walter had created a wonderful force for good in the form of Automan and that Nebicher programmed him to be honest. In addition, he largely recognised that Walter was very good in his computer skills. His programming allowed him to observe other people and do whatever they were capable of doing and as well as they accomplished it. These included acts such as Jimmy Conners playing tennis or John Travolta dancing. This did provide an air of confidence around Automan as he believed he was superior in most respects and he claimed that on a scale from one to ten that he was an eleven. In this respect, Automan believed that he was perfect and believed that Walter was largely responsible for this act.
Powers and abilities
Whilst Nebicher claimed he was not real, Automan responded that he was as real as a Human being but just differnet. This was largely due to the fact that he was a three-dimensional picture that was perfected to the point that visually he looked real and on an audio level he sounded real. This was largely determined by power requirements as enough energy levels allowed him to feel real.
