History
The Bähbem Foundation was a scientific research institution that traced its origins to the year 1576 where it was originally known as the Naacal Trading Company.
Overview
In appearance, the Bähbem Foundation was a human corporation that had a great deal of influence in the world. This included being sponsors of the TERRA organization and provided some of their equipment.
Through its excavation of OOPARTs, the Foundation developed patents for various advanced technologies allowing it to effectively control the world's economy.
Their technological expertise led to them developing their own Dolem based off the RahXephon for use by the Earth Federation with these being the Vermillion used by TERRA. Such mecha were equipped with a special trans-dimensional drive that allowed it to pierce the Absolute Barrier around Tokyo Jupiter.
One of their facilities was the Bähbem Institute.

- Ernst von Bähbem : known as the Designer, this current male elderly head of the Foundation was in fact its original founder who was an ancient Mulian that had survived to modern times in cloned bodies.
