Biography

Bellamy (Japanese: ベラミー, Hepburn: Beramī)

Overview

Personality and attributes

In appearance, Bellamy was a tall man with tan skin and short along with unkempt blond hair. As a pirate, he gained the reputation as Bellamy the Hyena (ハイエナのベラミー, Haiena no Beramī?). Whilst in service to Doflamingo, he came to be known as the Deadly Bullet of Dressrosa (ドレスローザの凶弾, Doresurōza no kyōdan?). He has a scar above his right eye and tattoos of eye-like designs on his arms. He has a trademark grin and sometimes sticks out his tongue in a taunting manner. After the timeskip, he grew in size dramatically where he now wore a pair of black sunglasses and bore two new scars, one across each side of his face.

At first, he was shown to be violent and conceited where he was very arrogant as well as highly confident in his own powers. He would only attack foes he thought he could win against.

Bellamy had greatly admired Donquixote Doflamingo since he was a kid.

Powers and abilities

At some point, he came to acquire one of the legendary Devil Fruits (悪魔の実, Akuma no Mi). This was the Bane Bane no Mi (バネバネの実, Spring-Spring Fruit) that was a Paramecia (超人パラミシア系, Paramishia-kei) type Devil Fruit that turned Bellamy into a Spring Human (バネ人間, Bane Ningen?).

Among the techniques known to him included:

  • Spring Snipe (スプリング狙撃スナイプ, Supuringu Sunaipu?, literally meaning "Spring Sniping") :
  • Spring Hopper (スプリング跳人ホッパー, Supuringu Hoppā?, literally meaning "Spring Recoil Man") :

As a ship captain, he came to lead a crew of pirates called the Bellamy Pirates (ベラミー海賊団, Beramī Kaizokudan).
