Following the Crisis on Infinite Earths, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events.

Post-Flashpoint

Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events.

She later met with Kate where she expressed her joy at seeing her being happy with her requesting to join the Batfamily as Flamebird. However, Kate felt that she required more training and refused with her telling Bette to continue her military studies instead. (Detective Comics v1 #967)

Personality and attributes

One of the identities she came to take was that of the costumed vigilante Flamebird. Her Flamebird costume was designed as a tribute to her teen idol Robin. (Secret Origins Annual v2 #3)

  • Bette Kane as Bat-Girl was created by Bill Finger and Sheldon Moldoff where she made her first appearance in Batman v1 #139 (April, 1961).
  • She later took the identity of Flamebird who was created by writers Tom Grummett and George PĂ©rez with her making her first appearance in this role in Secret Origins Annual v1 #3 (1989).
