Notes

  • Blackhawk was created by Chuck Cuidera, Bob Powell and Will Eisner where he made his first appearance in Military Comics v1 #1 (August, 1941).
  • At Comic Con (1999), Eisner commented, "It's not important who created it...it's the guy who kept it going, and made something out if it that's more important. Whether or not Chuck Cuidera created or thought of Blackhawk to begin with is unimportant. The fact that Chuck Cuidera made Blackhawk what it was is the important thing, and therefore, he should get the credit."

In which the Blackhawks attacked the Centre on the other side while the other fliers distracted the creature, allowing the Squadron to greatly harm the creature and letting pilots Hal Jordan, Ace Morgan and Nathaniel Adam to bomb the being with nuclear warheads from the inside. Following the death of the Centre, the Blackhawks celebrated alongside with the other heroes over their victory.
  • In Flashpoint: Hal Jordan v1 #3 (2011), an alternate version of Blackhawk appeared in the altered Flashpoint reality that existed in a world within the Multiverse.
