History

The Blood Brothers were a pair of siblings known as Gh'Ree Blood and R'Hos Blood. (Thanos v3 #2)

The pair were chosen to join the ranks of Thanos's Butcher Squadron following the death of Ferox. However, there was only an opening for one position with the Blood Brothers expected to fight one another until only one survived. However, their ties together meant that they were stronger together and they teamed up against the people observing the match. Thus, they eliminated another member of the Butcher Squadron allowing both Blood Brothers to enter into the team. (Thanos v3 #2)

Thanos had them stationed as guardians for his base on Earth. At the time, they came to target the hero Iron Man after he began to receive mental signals from the imprisoned Drax the Destroyer. Ambushing the superhero, they captured him a took him to Thanos's base where Drax was being held captive. Both Iron Man and Drax later came to ally with one another where they overpowered the Blood Brothers. This led to Thanos remotely triggering a self-destruct at the base to eliminate two allies where they left the Blood Brothers behind in the explosion. (Iron Man v1 #55)

Later on, the Blood Brothers were shown to had been recruited by the Grandmaster to join his Lethal Legion who competed against the Challenger's Black Order. (Avengers v1 #676)

Overview

In appearance, the Blood Brothers were a pair of red-skinned superpowered humanoids. (Iron Man v1 #55)

They were shown to possess superhuman strength and could overpower some opponents. (Iron Man v1 #55)
