The Blue Trinity (Russian: Голубая Троица, romanized: Golubaya Troitsa)
Two Soviet scientists named Doctors Pytor Orloff and Krulik came to be amazed at reports of the American speedster named the Flash. Orloff was interested with the benefits such powers could bring to society whereas Krulik was only interested in the military applications.
This saw them working on producing a serum to replicate the effects of super-speed with this being invented first by Orloff. However, Kruik was frustrated as their experiments were relegated to only animal test subjects and instead wanted to proceed to human testing. This led to the Kremlin deciding to provide the scientists with three children though not before Krulik had tested the serum on himself. He came to gain superspeed but unable to fully control his powers where the friction from the air burnt him alive.

- The Blue Trinity was created by Mike Baron and Jackson Guice where they made their first appearance in The Flash v2 #7 (December, 1987).
