The Box of Balefire was an artifact that featured in Dungeon at the Heart of Dawn in the Dungeon & Dragons cartoon series.
Background
The Box of Balefire was located within the Tower of Darkness when Dungeon Master's children were tasked with retrieving. The box was sealed with a pin and was heavily guared by Venger's minions. After getting it, Eric would open it despite Dungeon Masters warning and the box would shoots its magical contents into the sky. It was learnt that the Boxsent a message that summoned a powerful being that was Venger's master.
