History
The Brimstone Society was a top-secret fraternity that hunted down and destroyed supernatural threats.
Rayne came to be taken in by the Society and trained to be one of their agents.
In between two World Wars, Agent Rayne worked as a killing machine for the Brimstone Society.
In 1935, she joined the Society in destroying a supernatural bid by the Nazi's to achieve world dominance.

In appearance, the Brimstone Society was an underground organization that operated secretly in the world and worked to protected humanity from supernatural threats.
