Brobdingnag

Brobdingnag was a remote region of the world (said to be on the coast of California by one source) where a nation of giants dwell. The local wildlife and weather are similarly enlarged. Fossil evidence suggests that the current fauna are the diminished descendants of even larger ancestors.

The area is ruled by a monarch bound to rule by reason from the capital city of Lorbrulgrud. Brobdingnag was visited by castaway Lemuel Gulliver, who (quite unintentionally) left a distinctly negative impression of the English on the nation's rulers.
