Powers and abilities
Alix Harrower was an ordinary human being with all the natural traits of the species. (Seven Soldiers: The Bulleteer v1 #1)
She gained powers by accident as the result of her husbands experiments in a new technology he called smartskin. The smartskin growth pattern only spread effectively when it bonded to collagen where it copied tissue growth. After working on humans, it turned the skin into something that was stronger than steel. Thus, those exposed to it were shown to gain superhuman strength as a result. Conventional means were shown to be unable to pierce the metallic coating that was deemed indestructible. In Alix's case, her powers were gained when she tried to help her husband who had willingly applied the smartskin to himself. He would touch her after having difficulty to breath causing Alix's skin to be coated in the material as it expanded over her body. (Seven Soldiers: The Bulleteer v1 #1)
