These creatures were a type of animal that evolved on Earth in the future. They appeared as a form of primate that shared many characteristics with the Madagascan aye aye. These camoflage beasts were strange looking and their appearance led them to be taken by native mythology to be a symbol of death. They were capable of changing their skin tone similar to the cuttlefish which allowed them to blend into their background making them seemingly part of their environment
